November training

Started making the move to 60mpw at the beginning of November.  80% outdoor running and 20% treadmill (at my house).  With cooler temps, I am able to do lots of tempo runs at 7:15 to 7:25 pace.  Got a chance to run 17 miles in Brazil at the beginning of the month on a business trip.  Long runs of 17, 18, 19 and 20 during the month (on Sundays).  Total of about 170 miles running.  Not there yet at 60 miles per week. No pain anywhere, which is good.  Most of month still humid and in the upper 70s.

December training

Ran a total of 275 miles in December, hitting the 60mpw target and going a bit over.  In order to get there I started running 7 days a week, trying to put in recovery runs on Mondays and Saturdays.  Long run increased during the month to 23 miles by end of December, with one cut back week.  This is the first time I am running seven days a week.  Body seems to be handling it ok.  Four more weeks until taper time for the Tokyo marathon, so far so good!
